Where is God??
I think I am feeling him in Baltimore! I am hearing such a message of hope and I am witnessing joy! Praise God!
Wife, mother, blogger, Catholic ministry. I love to garden even when it goes wrong. Same with writing (and we know it can go wrong.) Believing that God is present in all of it.
Another day, another opportunity to look for the Wisdom of God. I was startled by today’s readings when first Moses while speaking to the Israelites says: “Today I have set before you life and prosperity, death and doom. If you obey the commandments of the LORD, your God, which I enjoin on you today, loving…
Last night my eldest daughter was confirmed. I thought it was pretty neat that this was happening on Pentecost weekend since the date for Confirmation is pretty random. She had our retired Bishop, Bishop Costello, confirm her and chose as her sponsor, her Godfather. It was a wonderful night. My daughter, who is a scientist…
My daughter made this video a couple of years ago, when she was twelve, for me to use at a presentation that I was doing on Mary. I gave her the song, John Michael Talbot’s Magnificat and asked to to add pictures for me. This is what I got, from a twelve year old. A…

Awesome, Annette! Fr. Jim posted that Kicanas gave an inspiring talk on hope, talking for an hour without notes. Did you hear him, too? Pardon my persistence, but I really think you should get the group hug from Fr. Jim. Just march right up to him, and tell him you’ve come to get the group hug! Enjoy your time there. I hope you learn lots of good things. Yes, praise God. (=: Sara
I meant to say “BISHOP Kicanas.” I went to look for the spelling of his name and then forgot to put his title! So glad you got/gave the “group hug,” Annette. (=; Sara
Sara, I have been saying it wrong the whole time, I keep saying “Bishop….”and looking at a friend who will fill int he blank! Seems so wrong since he is such a gift to us!
