Where is God??
I think I am feeling him in Baltimore! I am hearing such a message of hope and I am witnessing joy! Praise God!

Wife, mother, blogger, Catholic ministry. I love to garden even when it goes wrong. Same with writing (and we know it can go wrong.) Believing that God is present in all of it.
Yesterday’s reading was about the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist. John is one of the my favorite Biblical characters because he has a courage that I don’t. He has a conviction and a craziness to spread the message in a way that I just can’t access. Locusts and honey are not on my menu…well,…
“When you pray, say:Father, hallowed be thy name, your kingdom come.Give us each day our daily breadand forgive our sinsfor we ourselves forgive everyone in debt to us,and do not subject us to the final test.” Luke 11: 2-4Think of the guidance that the disciples received when Jesus showed them this way to pray. Praise God,…
I will be honest, like most everyone else in the northeast corridor, I am mentally exhausted this week from everything that has been going on. I don’t know if it is because there is a special place in my heart for runners, (my husband is one as are many family members and friends) or if…
I spent the day outside tending the gardens and getting some seeds sewn for indoors. It was a glorious day spent with the young’uns and seeing them free and basking in the sun and warm air! Keep on doing what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me. Then the God of…

Awesome, Annette! Fr. Jim posted that Kicanas gave an inspiring talk on hope, talking for an hour without notes. Did you hear him, too? Pardon my persistence, but I really think you should get the group hug from Fr. Jim. Just march right up to him, and tell him you’ve come to get the group hug! Enjoy your time there. I hope you learn lots of good things. Yes, praise God. (=: Sara
I meant to say “BISHOP Kicanas.” I went to look for the spelling of his name and then forgot to put his title! So glad you got/gave the “group hug,” Annette. (=; Sara
Sara, I have been saying it wrong the whole time, I keep saying “Bishop….”and looking at a friend who will fill int he blank! Seems so wrong since he is such a gift to us!
