When Things Go Right

Today I received the most wonderful text; my friend is healed.  She had been diagnosed with cancer a second time several months back but her doctor was aggressive and went right in.  Now, several truly grueling months later, she is cancer free. She has been an inspiration and her Irish was showing through as she wouldn’t give in to any of the side effects for long.  She has a 13 year old and an 11 year old, both girls. Her only consistent thought has been to be there for her children.  Especially the youngest who was the most worried. Well, she is.  She is a beacon of hope for all those others who are battling.  Her faith wavered but she stuck with it…sometimes unsure why.Thanks be to God from whom our strength, our hope and our healing comes.  Thank you who ever reads the prayer list…for your faithful attention.  Never, ever, underestimate the power of prayer.
