Water, Water Everywhere

Once again our community has been beaten up. Some people about 15 miles away lost everything.  In Fort Plain, NY, they are looking for people who may have been swept away by rushing flood waters (several homes were moved off their foundations.  Here are some pictures of the surrounding area.

In the meantime any and all prayers for sun and calm weather and restoration would be appreciated. Especially for the residents of Whitesboro, Herkimer, Mohawk, Fairfield and Fort Plain.  These places have been hard hit three times at least in the past 3 years and they are weary and broke from repairing and renovating.  I am grateful that my family was spared this time but it was only through diligence and no sleep that my brother’s home stayed in tact.  They were evacuated as were many others.  Fortunately, they had a stable home to return to, unlike many others.
 
 The American Red Cross is accepting donations specifically for this flood event.  Many neighbors lost everything.  Please spread the word and help our community who always comes together to help others. 

Wife, mother, blogger, Catholic ministry. I love to garden even when it goes wrong. Same with writing (and we know it can go wrong.) Believing that God is present in all of it.
