Stopping for Directions
“Make known to me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my savior.” Psalm 25:4-5
This was the psalm in our response at church today, and it got me thinking, what better way to get to where we want to be as a people of God than to ask God for directions? It’s so obvious. Since we are eager and willing to rely on our GPS’s to reach our daily destinations, why not God? Do we ever really ask for help to be the people we want to be? Or the people that God wants us to be? With my sense of direction, I have had no choice!
But still, today I pray that I will have the humility to ask God to lead me where he wants me to go, knowing that if I ask in prayer, I will be led in truth.
