Pentecost

With it being Memorial Day weekend (in America), I am sure that most people won’t be thinking about Pentecost this Sunday.  But I wish they would since it really is such an important moment in all of our Catholic lives.  Not only is it the birthday of the church, but most importantly it is when we remember the gifts that we have been given by the Holy Spirit!  The call to bring the Good News to all people!  This is the moment that Christ empowered all of us by empowering the first disciples.  Here is a great video from Busted Halo to sum it up!!

Now remember, it is our turn to go out and be the Good News!
