On To More Lenten Things
As many of you know, I began blogging as a Lenten experience a couple of years ago. It consisted of daily reflections, a couple of resources and prayers. The name is Lent Thing (and the number has changed with the years) and was named after the experience that I had while in college with my Newman friends. This year, I will be doing the same. But in my attempt to keep the Lenten blog my prayerful place, a scared stop in my own day, I will also periodically update this one too with the very important “goings on” in out church. I feel like to lose touch of all that we are challenged with at a time, when we are suppose to be penitential, is counter-productive. So, I hope you are patient with me and join me at both locations. But if you have to choose because of time, please use the Lenten blog. The journey can be long and difficult but with companions it is easier and we are enriched.God bless your Lenten experience.
