No Ordinary Time
Tomorrow we begin the holy season of Advent. A time to ready our hearts for the coming of the Lord. The Lord comes to us every day though, one must wonder, are our hearts always ready? Do we always honor what the Lord is trying to say to us? I can assure you that I don’t. Oftentimes I am fixated on my own perception of the world forgetting that there are billions of us doing the same thing. In this Advent season, I want to create an open space within myself where the Holy Family can take shelter when the time comes. I want to recognize that the Holy Family has many different faces, many different languages and many different needs. In short, I want to come to Christmas prepared in heart and mind. This blog is the product of last years Advent blog and I have enjoyed it. But as I have gone looking for resources, I have decided that there are so many who do Advent so much better so I am going to stay on here and share what I have found instead.
