Happy Fall Y’all!

It is fall and it means time for cleaning.  Cleaning out the garden and the house and preparing one for next year and one for winter. Planning is not my strength but with each passing year, I have come to see the benefits of doing something now to appreciate it down the road.  Consequently, I am expanding my garden, addressing the landscaping and redoing the inside of the house a bit.  I am contemplating what I can do now that would make my world more beautiful next year?  As I mentioned, I am also cleaning out and redoing my office space and I have learned a couple of things about myself:One: I have a lot of interests. 
Two: I have a lot of people in my life that I love and who love me.
Three: I don’t have a lot of extra time.  I have not been very attentive to some of the people I love…because of time.  To make my world more beautiful next year, I have to learn to give more this year.  Give more time, more compassion, more patience.  To get out of my head, and listen again.  A break is good, but I think God is telling me that my break, which was so generously provided, is becoming self -indulgent.  It is time to sow the seeds of love.
