Glimpsing God
My friend Helen has suffered a second stroke in as many months. I was blessed enough to see her a couple of weeks ago being her perky self. Helen is in her mid-seventies and has been enveloped by the Gospel most of her adult life. She is the epitome of Christian dedication and it is a sad thought to consider that she may not be walking with us in the world. Her family adores her, and so many of us out there rely on her wisdom and love and example. Please keep my friend Helen in your prayers. She has definitely earned her place in heaven but we would like her in full health on earth for a while longer, nonetheless.
