Comfort My People
An excellent video in response to the Newtown Conn massacre. The mystery is always present, the pain of the day may change us but our God knows our pain, knows the pain of those who are suffering most and is there holding them.I had a beautiful image come to me as I focused on the resurrected Christ in our church the other day. An image of all of the children bursting into the presence of Christ saying “We did it!” and laughing and hugging him. The adults followed with smiles of satisfaction, and he looked at them and said, ” You are all so brave.” It was the first time my mind left the image of broken babies and murdered adults and moved to the promise of God. I know they are well, just as I know that their families aren’t. But if we all bear their burden, if we all voluntarily carry some of their horror and their grief, maybe in time they will be on the other side. We just cannot forget them, because they have changed our hearts.
Annette, thank you for posting this video and for sharing the beautiful image that came to you during your time of prayer. God bless.
Thank you as always Lynda for visiting. I have been wondering if you have a blog? I have tried to click your name on PFO but to no avail. If you do and you want to share would you here?
