Thoughts
In keeping with looking at our faith with loving eyes, I am trying to provide insight into things that need to be changed within the structure and systems of our church. Where do we fail, as a community, to represent the love and goodness of Christ? The sexual abuse scandals that plague us are only symptoms of a flawed approach in our institution. This is part of that conversation. Please listen and comment. And I think it is vital that we remember that all priests are not perpetrators and that there are many left to clean up the messes that these sex offenders create. As a community we need to embrace the victims and support those priests who speak out. As a community we need to reclaim our church and with the guidence of the Holy Spirit, get it back on proper course. http://www.npr.org/2011/03/29/134953417/how-priests-accused-of-abuse-can-go-undetected
