St Patrick’s Day…a wee late!

What kind of Irish Catholic girl am I that I didn’t acknowledge St. Patrick’s Day on the blog!  Well as my apology, I am sharing one of my favorite scenes from one of my favorite movies; The Quiet Man with John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara.  I love this scene because of the old man and the line from the Priest threatening to “read your name at mass on Sunday!”  Ah yes, the good old days!  There are so many great scenes in this movie, so much the better to enjoy if you grew up in an Irish Catholic household!  What is your favorite Irish movie??

Prayer For the Frustrated Catholic

Well, it’s true. I will not deny it.  Fr.   1. well first of all my husband has this huge crush on Maureen OHara – she’s amazing and I really want to be her parent trap self. The commitments is my fav Irish movie – I know the sound track by heart!
