  1. It is certainly not wrong that you told the girls to use their own language for what other language could they use if they truly want to communicate with God? Prayer is conversation and there is definitely a place for written prayers but God just wants to communicate with us and God is very happy to have us come and just sit and be close and say nothing also. Your girls and all students are in my prayers during exam time. Incidentally, I minored in Latin in university and I’m thrilled that some students are still able to study it.

    1. That is how I see it too Lynda! But sometimes I wonder if I am not awestruck enough. But I have always thought there was no right or wrong way to pray, only prayer. My girls set high standards for themselves and I am glad, but they are in a very competitive and well rated district so the pressure is on them here. She could have used you the last couple of months instead of me, that is for sure!! haha. Thanks for your prayers Lynda!!
